Foziah Abdulaziz Alshubaily
I am an assistant proffesor at the Biochemistry Department though my speciality at the Phd is structural Bioinformatics as I could work at computing science and teach there as this is my plan for next year.
I teach at the moment ,other than research, Bioinformatics courses Bioc392 and Bioc603 which are pure bioinformatics programms. I am interested in Alzeheimer disease from the side of structural Bioinformatics. i have other interestes in Biological scensors in many aspects as detecting blood glucose levels. I am doing a research at the moment on ligands in pdb files looking at specific ligands.

Research Interests
I am interested mainly in Protein Structural Bioinformatics and Genes Homology and Sequence Comparisons of proteins and genes and also in building poly peptides and investigating the resulted structures in Ramachandran plot. Other interests include Molecular Biology especially PCR.
